Full Garden Design
With a Diploma in Garden Design, and an RHS certificate in Horticulture, I have a decade of experience in creating urban, rural and coastal gardens, large and small. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulturalists and a Friend of the Society of Garden Designers. I also hold a BA hons degree in Geography.

Based on a thorough client briefing, detailed survey and assessment of your garden, I will work closely with you, using moodboards, aerial plans, and sketches, to help you imagine your new garden. With careful listening, I will guide you expertly through a robust design process, ensuring your aspirations for your garden are met.
You can expect high quality industry-standard, scale landscape and planting plans, ready for a professional landscaper to work from.
I work closely with reputable local landscaping firms and other contractors to bring your new garden to life.

Planting Plans and Planting
Whether it is re-planting an area of your existing garden, or planning a planting scheme for a newly landscaped space, my professional planting plans draw together three key elements - your preferences; the plants that will thrive in your garden; and your budget.
I am very happy to receive commissions for planting design for existing borders. I will source and plant the plants for you, or leave you to plant your garden yourself, following my professional planting plan.

Garden Consultations
Perhaps you know what you want, but lack the gardening know-how to achieve it and need some advice to set you on the right path. Maybe you need ideas for a quick fix/re-style, in time to sell a property. My consultation service is particularly useful if:
- You're finding your garden overwhelming and don't know where to start
- Your budget is limited
- You want to phase improvements over a period of time.
I offer tailored garden assessment and consultation services which can include;
- a written report detailing your garden's potential and giving professional practical advice on improvements and maintenance
- a landscaping design idea or landscaping materials options for part or all of the garden
- Planting Plans to refresh problem areas

Garden Lighting
Garden lighting can entirely change the way you use and experience your garden. Whether you want to create a cosy stylish "garden room" for entertaining, want practical safety and security lighting on steps and at entranceways, or want to highlight trees and shrubs, or even light a pond with underwater fittings - I can advise on all aspects.
I will introduce you to experienced, reliable electrical contractors for installation.
Garden lighting is often included in my full designs but can also be provided as a stand-alone service.
In collaboration with Connected Abodes (www.connectedabodes.co.uk) I can design zoned garden lighting that is compatible with the Lutron smart-home system.
